ON Tour with CAmile Velasco and Aegis

Zak Dylan was invited to tour with longtime friend and American Idol Finalist Camile Velasco (Eli Mac). The duo opened for legendary Filipino rock band Aegis in performances in San Jose, CA, San Diego, CA, and Newark, NJ. The duo also performed at the Honolulu Shell for the Bob Marley festival to a crowd of 10,000.

Zak Dylan was awarded the Phillip Green Music Award by Seabury Hall for outstanding musical accomplishments including performances in the Seabury Hall Big Band, Jazz Band, Local Licks concert, and his own band the Bongo Capitals.

Jimi Hendrix Electric Guitar Competition

Zak Dylan was invited to perform at the B.B. King's Blues Club in Hollywood for the semi-finals of the Jimi Hendrix Electric Guitar Competition put on by the Hendrix Family Foundation. Zak was one of 6 musicians selected from the western US to travel to Los Angeles to compete. Zak wowed the crowd and earned an honorable mention at the performance by Janie Hendrix, Jimi Hendrix's sister.
